2017: year in review (Stefan Johansson)
"I don’t think many tyre companies would be interested in competing against each other in F1 with the current rules that mandate the same old 13-inch balloon tyres they’ve continued to use since the 70s or maybe even earlier, because they are completely irrelevant to any tyre on the road anymore. But if they could change to tyres that look at least remotely like what you see on a road car now then I’m sure the tyre companies would jump right in."
Massa ended career at the top - Smedley (Autosport)
"He was pitch perfect throughout that race (Baku), but there were reliability problems. We've probably lost about half the points on that car that we should have had."
Sauber rescued a 'disaster' in 2017, says Ericsson (Motorsport)
"It's all going to pay off next year so I think Sauber as a team have a very exciting future, especially starting with next year."
Hulkenberg experience a big benefit for Sainz (F1i)
"Already in feedback we have a lot of similarities and that's going to help everyone."
